Screening of documentaries on Indian artists INHA,Paris 21-22 October 2016

21 octobre 2016 Eight documentary films produced by Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi were screened in INHA (Institut national d'histoire de l'art), Paris. Documentaries on the following artists were screened: M.F. Hussain- The Barefoot Pilgirm, S.H. Raza- The Very Essence, Akbar Padamsee- Works and Words, Ram Kumar- Nostalgic Longing, Krishna Reddy- A Life’s Print, Krishen Khanna- The Human Condition, Rajendra Dhawan- The Unknown and K.G. Subramanyan- A Language of my Own. These documentary films showed the life of the great Indian artists, anecdotes from their lives, comments of their contemporaries and their influence on Indian art etc. On this occasion, a photo exhibition on the lives of these Indian artists was also organized.
